New Feature

A calendar built for how your studio actually runs

Calendar has moved into the Kenko Core (the new CRM) with more ways to view your schedule, set it up your way, and manage events in bulk instead of one at a time.

What this means for your studio:

  • See your week your way: Switch to Table view to scan everything at once, or pull up a schedule for just one instructor or room.

  • Find any class fast: Search by event name, instructor, or facility, then save the views you use most.

  • Spot full classes at a glance: Show booking and waitlist counts right on the event card.

  • Manage several events at once: Shift-click or drag to select events, then cancel or delete them together. Works in Day view, ungrouped Week view, and single-resource Week view.

A few shortcuts worth knowing: T for today, D/W/M to switch views, C to add an event. Press ? any time to see the full list for wherever you are.

New Feature

Search, jump, and book faster with keyboard shortcuts

The new Command Center in the new CRM puts page search and contact search in one place, so you and your staff can jump straight to what you need instead of hunting through menus.

What this means for your studio:

  • Pull up a client's profile in seconds: Hit Cmd+K, start typing their name, and press Enter to open their contact, even mid-conversation at the front desk.

  • Get anywhere in the CRM without touching your mouse: Cmd+G opens a Go to menu where a single letter takes you straight to Calendar, Home, Contacts, or anywhere else you're set up to access.

  • Never guess a shortcut again: Press ? any time you're not typing to see every shortcut for your current screen, plus the shortcuts that work everywhere.

How to get started:

These shortcuts are live now in the new CRM:

  • Cmd+K to search pages and contacts

  • Cmd+G to open Go to (then press a letter like E for Calendar, H for Home, or U for Contacts)

  • Shift+? to see shortcuts for your current screen

  • Cmd+P to open POS

  • Cmd+/ to toggle the sidebar

New Feature

Custom permissions for every role on your team

Staff permissions are no longer just on/off switches for each feature. You can now build custom permission groups and control exactly what each group can see and do.

What this means for your studio:

  • Build roles that match how your studio actually runs: Go beyond Owner, Admin, Manager, Instructor and Front desk with custom groups for whatever roles you need.

  • Limit staff to just their own stuff: Give a group access to all contacts or only their assigned clients, all team members or just themselves. Same idea for tasks, timesheets, substitutions and payroll.

  • Get specific about what each group can do: Instead of a single Contacts toggle, control view, edit, delete, and create separately, plus access to purchases, payment methods, waivers, forms, documents, check-ins and exports.

  • Keep front desk staff out of sensitive payment actions: POS access, completing payments, custom discounts and collecting cash are now separate toggles, and refunds stay off for front desk unless you turn them on.

  • Hide client contact info when a group doesn't need it: Turn off Access contact info to keep email and phone numbers private for that group.

  • Control who sees Kenko Payments data: If you use Kenko Payments, then payments, payouts, disputes and balances have their own access setting.

How to get started: Go to Settings → Team → Permissions in the new CRM. If you're used to Classic Roles & Privileges, that link now takes you straight here.

Coming soon: More granular controls are on the way for Calendar, Services & memberships, Marketing, Reports & Insights, and a few remaining Settings pages.
